I always like it when it sort of trucks its merry little way through.

Because when you always start off, you always think, I wonder how the...

Well, I just say, it's a lie.

I don't ever think.

I wonder where this programme's going to go to today because I've got no idea. It comes as a bigger surprise to you as it does to me. Because you cannot plan anything on what they call a free fall program. I mean, absolutely, nothing at all.

I can sort of set out the stories and set out my little stall, but sometimes we wander off at a tangent.

Like this morning, we were talking about Adrian Love and Bavin and Knuckles and everybody else and what it used to be like in the early days, which is always good. I think you get to a certain age where you start remembering things. And the more I remember, the more people say, you know, you've got to write your book, haven't you? You've got to do a life story on, you know, but the trouble is there's so many radio presenters. Everybody's got a similar story to tell. Everybody's got the story that, you know, is the ultimate story. And, you know, if you

meet various people, I've got loads of stories. But then everybody else who works in radio or in

management in radio, they've got the same stories, you know, what it was like the day I had to

fire so and so, or the day that I brought somebody back in again, or the day that, you know,

we had to tell them that the programme was too successful.

I've had all of those. I've had all of them. Anyway, here we go. I can't keep living like this.

Who would that be? Who's after the attention? Sharon Osbourne, after she's split from Ozzy.

He moves back home. She moves out in protest. I love her. I think she'd be a really good interview for in conversation. Don't you think so? I think she'd be fantastic. I think she's feisty. I like feisty. I think it's good.
