| 0:33.0 | You see, the truth is God delights in meeting our need. He desires to meet all of our needs. |
| 0:38.0 | Well, if He does, then why doesn't He? Why is it that God seemingly does not meet all of our needs? |
| 0:45.0 | So that's what I want to talk about in this message and that is why our needs remain unmet. |
| 0:51.0 | So rather than just turning to a pastor of Scripture, we'll just use Philippians 4.19 and turn to some other passages. |
| 0:59.0 | And I want to begin by simply saying this that God's certain desires to meet all of our needs. |
| 1:03.0 | And you may be familiar with this verse, but in case you're not, turn if you will to Matthew chapter 6 for a moment. |
| 1:09.0 | You recall this is the sermon on the Mount. |
| 1:11.0 | And right before we have the pattern prayer, you recall this is what Jesus said. |
| 1:17.0 | He had been talking about people just using repetitious words in their prayers and saying the same thing over and over again in verse 70 says, |
| 1:26.0 | and when you're praying, do not use meaningless repetitions as the Gentiles do, |
| 1:30.0 | but they suppose that they'll be heard for them any words. |
| 1:33.0 | Therefore, do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him. |
| 1:40.0 | God wants us to know that he is interested, committed to, and able to meet every single need that we have. |
| 1:48.0 | And so Jesus certainly came as the need, meet it to meet people's needs and what you find the gospels everywhere you go, |
| 1:55.0 | he's meeting somebody's needs now. |
| 1:57.0 | With all these promises, the very life of Jesus Christ himself, somebody says, |
| 2:02.0 | well, but I have needs and my needs are not being met. |
