Before we start the show today, I want to do something a little bit different.

As we go throughout all of the stories, I want you to act as if everything we're speaking about is off limits,

that everything we're discussing has been censored.

And I want you to approach this information as if it's something you would otherwise never,

or you otherwise never would have discovered or even known about,

if the most

powerful institutions of our government and big tech sensors had their way. As we approach the

stories that broke this week about George Floyd 2.0, Trump potentially being a dictator or

trans kids happily flourishing, I want you to pay extra attention to how the media reports it

versus how I report it. Now, I want you to look

at today's show through this lens because that's what the government of Brazil and governments

worldwide have been fighting for their societies to look like, a society in which the media

reports a government-approved version of a new story, and that's the only version that you get.

Historically, we've seen

instances of people being arrested, disappeared, or even killed for sharing information that

countered what their authoritarian government was trying to sell. And it's with this perspective

that I want you to view what our government and the government of Brazil are currently doing

to their people today.
