Glad you're here tonight. Those of you online, this is a special prayer meeting. We don't usually

live stream our prayer meetings, but tonight we're going to do some a little bit different.

I had spent some time seeking the Lord about tonight's prayer

meeting in particular, and I sense that he would have me to briefly share about prayer. And

specifically as it relates to some of the reasons that prayers will oftentimes seemingly and inexplicably go unanswered.

Much of what I want to share with you tonight is just some things over the years that God has taught me

about prayer in my own prayer life. So I just want to share those

with you briefly. Afterwards, we'll enter into a time of prayer, and we're going to pray

specifically for the many missions outreaches and also some other prayer needs as well.

So let's get to it.

I want to share, by the way, I should probably say that I have 18 of these.

I narrowed it down.

It's not an abbreviation.

I mean, it's not a, I didn't condense it.

I abbreviated it.

So I got it down to eight.

I know on Sunday I said seven, but I just couldn't keep it at seven.
