Have you ever encountered a Mormon and talked with them about your faith versus their

faith and it sounds like you guys are agreeing but you kind of feel like you're not?

Like you're not really in agreement here at all and that's actually probably true because the issue is this

Mormons and Christians have the same vocabulary but they have a different dictionary.

And that's what I'm going to talk to you about today in the Tuesday live stream.

Welcome, I'm Mike Winger, and this is our Tuesday live stream, where we tackle issues of theology and apologetics, the issues that matter today.

And the issue today is the secret language of Mormonism.

And I think it's fair to call it the secret language of Mormonism

because it's kind of a mystery even to a lot of Mormons and

they're in their younger years until they get sort of further on in the faith and then they get the

meat teachings and they find out some of this stuff. But this is just

simply going to give you the difference between what Christians believe and

what Mormons believe and why I'm going to start out by saying this. This is why you cannot call Mormons, Christians, and you can't

call Christians Mormons. Now this is not a prejudice thing. This doesn't come out of hate of my heart.

It just comes out of a desire for truthfulness and honesty and

integrity on these issues because we care about our beliefs.

So we should be honest about them.

We should hold them up to the light of discernment and clarity

and not try to muddy the waters for the sake of a pretend version of unity that it doesn't really

exist. All right, so here we go. The Mormon's secret

language. When you hear Mormons say a word, it may not mean what you think it

means. For instance, the first word today, the word God.
