0:24.4	This past weekend, Mr. Taylor was up on California's Central Coast.
0:29.8	To be specific, he was at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival and was moderating a metric ton of panels.
0:41.4	And since that event didn't end to, well, today, Tuesday, April 28th, the day I'm actually
0:47.5	recording this week's podcast is a solo show.
0:49.9	Well, anyway, that explains Drew's absence.
0:54.7	And a brief side note here.
0:57.1	I don't know how many of this podcast listeners have ever been up to San Luis Obispo.
1:04.1	In my own case, it's literally been 40 years since I last visited the place, which is basically midway from L.A. to San Francisco,
1:13.6	I actually stopped there en route going to Disneyland to cover their 30th anniversary on July 17, 1985.
1:24.2	And that said, I have very fond memories of the Madonna Inn, where I stayed for my visit in San Luis Obispo.
1:32.8	You know, every room at that hotel is different.
1:36.8	I also spent an afternoon exploring the historic Spanish mission right in the center of town.
1:42.3	But what I especially remember about that stop and the trip is, well, the very next morning.
1:48.1	I got my rental car and then drove up to San Simeon and toured Hearst Castle.
1:53.9	And I want to say the day that I was there, they were only offering two tours.
2:00.2	I want to say they would take you around the lower
2:04.6	floor of the building and then you could tour the grounds and you could see, for example,
2:11.6	where Hearst had his private zoo, likewise the pool area. And these days, in fact, I was just over at the official Hearst Castle website.
2:21.4	I want to say there are at least six tours, sometimes eight tours.
