Today I'm joined and very happy to be joined by Jonathan Isaac.

He's the author of the new book, Why I Stand, which I was just telling him I finished today.

I thought it was excellent. I have so many questions about it.

Jonathan, thank you so much for joining us.

Yeah, thank you so much for having me. I'm excited.

Yeah, so the book starts sort of, you know, you could expect with some of your childhood.

And you grew up in Hunts Point and then you ended up in Florida.

But your life in Hunts Point is really interesting, especially in the context of your life now.

So I was wondering if you could tell us just a little bit about your childhood, maybe preview how you write about it in the book for people who haven't had a chance to crack it open yet.

Yeah, what I tried to do with the beginning of the book is obviously just take people back.

Because they see who Jonathan Isaac is right now, but they obviously don't know the story of who Jonathan, who Jonathan was or how he became who he is.
