Wow!

Hello and welcome to the 100-Plan podcast, probably the best way of learning about life in Japan,

without actually being in Japan. I'm your host Chris Broadham,

and joined as always by England's top Japan enthusiast, Mr. Pete Donaldson himself. Pete,

how you doing today? I'm doing very well Chris, a very good morning to you. I'm having a very

English morning. I'm having a cup of coffee. That should really be tasty, isn't it? But I'm

eating crumpets with butter on, lovingly paired. I've done feeling good. I'm having a lovely

Friday morning. It's a Friday. We're recording two days before this goes out, so up to the minute

news guys. Absolutely. And while you've been eating crumpets all morning, I've been

lost in some sort of forest. Filming a video covered in sweat and flies. It's been horrible, Pete.

Why do I do this? Why do I go out of my way to make an effort? I should just start making videos

in my apartment. I've been doing videos for this driving in Japan video that I've been working on,

often on all of the work. I've got a scene where I come across a sign about bare, about bare,

basically, warning people that there's bears. And the very sign that I tried to film is in this very

unpleasant forested area near a dam, deep in the mountains of North Japan. And I regret that

in hindsight, I should have just got like a, I should have just photoshopped a fucking sign of a bear.

What was I thinking? Yeah. More. You just go to any other sign and just see

G.I. put a bit of after effect or just add a bear to it. Change one was like old lady and old man

signs, elderly people crossing signs. Just add some ears on that and pretend it's like an elderly

bear sign. I wish I'd done that. I wish I was a smart individual. I mean, it's the same

me who spent like an entire month using your green screen and having this kind of very specialised

scene last month, if you remember, when I kind of green screened myself into a tiny Japanese
