So we realized, yes, there are bananas here, we realized that we still do not know who is developing Donkey Kong Bonanza.

And we realize that this actually has a pretty big ripple effect on a ton of other stuff, depending on who the developer is.

So I want to talk about that.

Yes, we're about a month away from this game coming out.

Can you believe it or not?

We've been so focused on the launch that this game is just kind of looming on the horizon.

And Nintendo did just announce there's a Donkey Kong Bonanza direct coming this week on Wednesday.

So we should get a huge dump of new information.

So it is kind of the right time to look into this question of who is making this game and why does that matter so much?

Because as you kind of start to look at all of the ripple effects, it's like, no, wait, this has an impact on more than just this game.

Exactly.

It has a pretty big impact on stuff that is beyond the game itself.

So we want to kind of dig into that here. It is kind of interesting because, yeah, we've been enjoying, like, the launch of Switch 2, the launch lineup has been really strong with some great third party games.

Obviously, everybody's been playing Mario Kart World as included.

But this does seem like Donkey Kong Bonanza really does seem like a game that kind of truly

showcases the power of Switch 2 and might even give us more just like sort of insight into what the system can do.

So it's going to be a really important title for Nintendo.

Yeah, it is important.

It's almost like a second launch game.

We've seen from a lot of people who say like, yeah, Mario Kart's fine.
