Hello, so I'm actually very excited about today's guests. I've been following him on

Twitter for a very long time and throughout this conflict that is and he speaks from a pretty unique place of experience which we need to hear.

And what I've tried to do, as I hope everyone has seen, is try to provide a kind of broad platform for different voices, Palestinian voices, Israeli voices.

The one voice we haven't actually had is military expertise, and I think that is something which is very important to talk about in the current context.

So Charlie Herbert is a major general as he think people can see on the screen.

He served 34 years in the Army and he's been a fascinating voice throughout this horror and I think
