| 0:28.2 | Well, this also explains why it's very difficult to get your kids to eat their vegetables, |

| 0:36.2 | So, is it the lack of nutrients that's causing this problem? |
| 0:39.8 | Well, nutrients themselves don't have any flavor. |

| 0:45.4 | Well, a tomato and other plants have hundreds of flavor chemicals, |
| 0:50.6 | and that's what gives you the flavor. |
| 0:52.7 | And it just so happens that these flavor chemicals are made from essential nutrients, |
| 0:59.9 | like omega-3 fatty acids, like essential amino acids. |
| 1:05.5 | And so, we do have a direct connection between nutrients and flavor chemicals. |
