Well, you couldn't ask for a greater fit for a conference for me than a mountain conference. Normally, I'm trying to figure out

how to bring this mountain thing into the conversation. In your case, you actually have a

mountain theme, so I'm completely overwhelmed. So let's talk about this idea. It came the origin

of this whole mountain metaphor, which is like a shorthand, it's gone kind of global, and it's

going to keep

on picking up.

I just got a call from Laura Logan, talked to her last week.

She said, Lance, I want to do a whole special on Seven Mountains because I started getting

targeted with being called a Christian nationalist dominionist, which struck me as kind of

interesting, because I wasn't

even sure what the term meant, but it came about because the teaching on the mountains was such

a threat to the ideology of people that are progressive Marxists that they literally, in other

countries, had me on a short list to be watched because I was bringing subversive ideas into

nations. And all I was doing was teaching about the kingdom of God. But if you make the kingdom

of God something that happens here and not in some ethereal realm out there, the devil freaks out.

He wants all of your spirituality to be in the next life, going to heaven when you die,

and just doing some innocuous
