Summary

The modern Mormon Church has gotten so far away from its roots, it has developed a completely different Plan of Salvation than the one taught in the Book of Mormon! RFM demonstrates how the “Keystone of Mormonism” has been discarded by the very church leaders who profess it to be holy scripture!

The Testing 1,2,3, testing 1,2, 3. This is Radio Free Mormon on the air, broadcasting behind enemy lines.

0:34.1

Tonight's episode, why is the LDS plan of salvation so different from the book of Mormon?

0:41.3

This is Radio Free Mormon, episode 352. I'm also releasing this under Mormon Sunday School,

0:46.8

episode 18. So that is the question. It's more of a rhetorical question than anything else.

And what I want to do tonight is establish the fact that the plan of salvation, as taught

0:57.7

in the Book of Mormon, is really quite different from the plan of salvation as taught by

1:02.7

the Mormon church today.

I've mentioned before about my conversion to the book of Mormon when I prayed my way

1:32.8

1988. And for whatever reason, I got it into my head that it would be a good idea to read through

1:39.3

the entire standard works in one year. Well, I counted up the total number of pages between the New Testament,

1:46.6

the Old Testament, the book Mormon, the Doctrine, and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price.

1:50.4

I divided by 365 days in the year, and I came up with the number of eight.

1:56.3

Eight pages is what one must read per day, every day, not taking holidays or weekends off every day of the

2:03.9

year in order to read all the way through the four standard works in one year. And that's what I did in

2:09.4

1988. I was doing a lot of things at the time. I was going to law school. My firstborn was going to be

2:15.7

born in the middle of summer. I was in a dance
