Today, why is revenge porn still spreading?

My name is McKeelsoon, I'm 23 and I have changed my name in the past because of the

ashes that we're about to talk about.

Michaela changed her name and even moved cities to escape revenge porn.

The photos were very old and quite unrecognizable but I felt very angry for everybody else who was

involved.

She's become a victim for the second time.

After finding images of herself on a website

containing folders full of explicit photographs of women

organized into a kind of creepy directory of cities across the UK.

Well, Michaela waved her right to anonymity as a victim of crime because she wants revenge porn to be taken more seriously.

Connor Giddies is a reporter for BBC Scotland who spoke to McKay there. He's been on the story for a

while and we called him up to find out what's going on and why revenge porn is so difficult

to stop despite it now being illegal.

A few weeks ago a number of people had contacted the BBC saying that they are kind of intimate images,

explicit images of them were on a file sharing website that was kind of been hosted abroad.

What did you find when you went on there?
