So these Western Conference standings are very tight.

And I was looking in the standings, and there's one team that my eyes just seemed to glaze and gloss over.

Is there a team more easy to ignore than the New Orleans Pelicans?

Because unless you're living in the bayou or watching

League Pass 24-7, good for you, by the way, it would be very easy to miss, not the Bayou

part, but the League Pass 24-7. Also, New Orleans is pretty sick too. I wouldn't hate living

there. Outside of the humidity. The Pelicans are in fifth place right now in the West, in a very

difficult West, and they are chasing down the clippers for the fourth spot.

The clippers, by the way, who just vomited a lead away to the Milwaukee Bucks.

They are 10 and 4, the New Orleans Pelicans in the last 14 games.

So the question that I have is, why doesn't anybody take them seriously?

Why aren't people paying attention?

Why are we saying, eh, pelicans?
