kind of why morning anxiety is worse, kind of the science behind it, and the role of stress hormones.

Let's start with the biological side of things, my friends. When you wake up in the morning,

your body experiences what's called the cortisol awakening response. Cortisol is known as the

stress hormone, but it's not inherently bad. In fact, it plays a crucial role

in waking you up and giving you the energy you need to start your day. For people with chronic

anxiety, cortisol peaks in the morning, usually within the first 30 to 45 minutes after waking up,
