Tim Jaffrey is 64 years old.

And pensions are something he didn't think much about when he was in his 20s and 30s.

For many years, Tim worked in an industry that paid really well.

It was 25 years as a newspaper and magazine printer.

In the 1980s, newspaper and magazine printing kind of became

very boom and bust. Printing was very well paid. Part of the problem with a boom and bust thing was that I never had a stable pension.
