My name is Dorsa Jbari. I'm a correspondent for Al Jazeera, and I've been covering the Middle East for nearly two decades now.

Dorsa, welcome back to The Take. Let's start with the panoramic view here of Israel's attacks on Iranian targets.

Iranian media is reporting dozens of civilian casualties at this point, including children.

We must decisively settle our account with this occupying regime, with this child killing

regime, once and for all.

Give us an update of what people on the ground in Iran are telling you about how these attacks

are unfolding. Well, people are extremely worried. They're scared. They're in shock.

Many people I spoke to, my own family members included, woke up in the middle of the night with the sounds of these attacks taking place across the Capitol.

And people really didn't know what was happening.

So initial shock in the first few hours.

And the attacks continue.

They have shown no signs of subsiding. Israel continues wave after wave of attacks.

Most people I know are underway out of the capital. They're trying to go to the coastal area of Shomal near the Caspian Sea. If they have the opportunity, most people are trying to leave the capital

in order to avoid what is happening there. Because really, it's unclear where the targets
