Today we're going to be talking about why DECA is not in the Anabolic Ceroid Family Tree.

And this is every time I bring up this family tree, a lot of people surprisingly comment,

where's DECA? Why do you always forget to put in DECA?

Where the fuck is DECA? It's supposed to be in there.

And I have to say the same thing every time. And I think most of you guys already know the answer to this. But when you look at the family tree, we have testosterone.

And technically, Dht and Nandrolone are derived from testosterone.

So technically they can be put under testosterone as on paper technically they're derived from that.

But anyway, it's just the general kind of accepted

framework of it is that there's three parent categories one being testosterone one being its five

alpha reduced metabolite dh t and one being a 19 norsteroid that it's produced as an intermediary

during the aromatization process and this is dhd the 5 alpha reduced metabolite, testosterone, and nandrolone, 19 nor testosterone.

And a lot of these, these parent hormones were used to, they were chemically tweaked and modified to create more different kinds of anabolic with either more tissue selective activity, more

skewed towards more protein expression, or different kinds of activity off target from just

AR and they all kind of have their own inherent unique properties.

So DHD is the parent hormone for this category and it has its own derivatives that were

basically tweaked and modified from the parent hormone dhg to create a myriad of other

anabolic enderogenic steroids and you have testosterone the parent of the uh this category the

testosterone derivatives which has a handful of different compounds as well as a bunch that are much

less notable so i don't include them um then nandrolone 19 nort is the final parent, which is the derivatives of that that were tweaked and modified to create other compounds where things like Trenblown, MENT,

Saranabal, stuff like that, and then a few less notable ones.

And so where's DECA? Where does DECA fit into all this? What a lot of people don't realize, which is honestly kind of surprising for me at this point,
