Several years ago, I don't know, four or five.

The Houston Chronicle did a series and local TV news covering it.

And it said that there was an FBI investigation into Rodney Ellis over African art that

was being stored at a warehouse and he was involved and it suggested that he was profiting

off of African art.

And I remember speaking to some local law enforcement officials who were privy to the

investigation.

And it was widely known that an arrest of Rodney was imminent as in any day everybody

was talking about it.

And I was at an event which I never go to, but it was all politicos.

And everyone wanted to come up and give me the hot scoop that they got Rodney.

They finally got after all these years, all these scandals, all the rumors that got

Rodney, the feds did it.

And it's over this African art.

Well Ed M. it told a story a couple days ago on KTRH I believe with Jimmy and Shara.

That the basis of the art program was that the county would now buy or lease African

art and put it in county buildings.

Because Lord knows that's what we need to do because that will show black people we

like them.

Actually, it doesn't matter at all.

The reason you do that is because somebody is sitting on the African art.
