Hello everyone and welcome back to On the Men with me Matt Willis. How's everyone doing? Are you all right?

How are you getting on? How's life going? Let me know. I want to hear from you. Right, we're going to start the episode off with the gratitude list.

First time I'm grateful for. Now this is going to sound bad, but it's not bad.

The first thing I'm grateful for is the kids being back at school.

This summer holiday feels like it's been so long.

And trying to find things to do with your kids that doesn't involve them being on a screen

has been a real challenge, you know, and feeling guilty when they are on a screen, you know,

it's been a real challenge for me. I feel so guilty, but then I'm like, you know, life is life.

Sometimes, you know, they have to do that, you know, and they want to. And it's bad for me to go, no, you can't do that. You must do a puzzle or some shit. They don't want to do a puzzle. They want to play Minecraft or whatever they're doing or roadblocks. You know, there was a time when, um, when the only text I ever got from my son was, can I buy some robux, you know, and that was it. Can I get some road bucks? And then I kind of told him one day, I was like, mate, I'd love to hear from you. That isn't just, can you, can I have, now it's a V-Bux because he's into Fortnite, you know, and I just get, hi-day, can I get to V-Bux, please? you know and I was like, mate, I'd love to hear from you for something that isn't just something you want.

And because it's nice to hear from you, you know, when I'm away and not just about wanting money to spend on an app.

And so now he sends me, hi, Dad, miss you, hope you well.

Can I get some V-Bucks?

But at least it's a nicer way of approaching it.

So I'm teaching your values in how to send a message.

I should listen to that when I'm fucking sending emails because my emails are terrible.

What else am I grateful for?

I'm grateful for Ace actually wanting to play Fortnite with me, you know. So I don't really know much about Fortnite, but I know that he loves it. And I've got a PlayStation which I took on tour with me in a little box, a little case with the screen and stuff. And I never used it. I used it on tour last time because I thought it would be fun. And it was fun. I'd come off stage and go back to my room and play Spider-Man, you know, swinging around the streets of New York. So when you think,

oh, they must come on stage, it must be such a rock and roll party, I came off stage, went back to

my hotel room and was Spider-Man swinging around the streets of New York for about two hours

...
