I want to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving on this Thanksgiving Day 2017, so it is November 23rd, 2017.

Now, this morning, I sat down and I wrote something, and it's called Why I Started, and I posted it on

Facebook, but I also thought it would be a good idea if I read it here as a podcast so that you guys could hear the

story as well. So this is something that would have scared my younger self, say in second grade,

actually reading something in front of people, though you guys aren't actually in front of me.

You are somewhere around the world listening to this, and I truly appreciate the fact that you

are doing

that. So I'm going to read it here. Hopefully I don't make too many mistakes, but I may. And let's just

get into it. So why I started. Almost eight years ago, I started working on an idea that would

later become known as Fro No's photo. At first, I didn't have a name for what I wanted to do.

I knew I wanted to do something online, but didn't know what to call it. I sat in front of a domain

purchasing site and started typing out ideas for web addresses. At first, they were generic

thoughts, generic names, and I didn't like any of them. Mind you, I already had the Fro for close to

three years. My fingers started to type and what came out next was the Fro No's photo. Yep,

it had the in front of Frohnows photo until I realized that it would be much cooler and probably

less confusing without the the.

I purchased both domain names instantly.

I didn't ask anyone for their opinion.

It felt right to me, so I went with it.

But the big question is that I get all the time is why did I decide to start making photo-related videos to post on YouTube?

The quick and simple answer is to help new photographers take better photos.

I wanted to help people who just got their first camera or who've had one for a while, but were not happy with the results.
