You know much reaction there has been to my decision to no longer consider myself a Democrat,

but rather an independent.

All of those things, I said, look, I've had it with the Democratic Party I no longer consider myself a Democrat

never even occurred to me that it would get beyond that little radio station

television requests and newspaper requests. People want me to explain, you know, why I've left the Democratic Party and does that mean that I'm joining the Republican Party?

Well, let me be very clear, I'm not joining the Republican Party.
