And so I'm delighted to be here.

It's been a number of years since I've been here and he gave me the assignment of money. Come on everybody. What's up with that? And yeah, so hi everybody here we go. All right. and I want to I want to lay some context I'm a little bit

of a different communicator than your pastures they are classic dynamic powerful preachers I'm kind of not actually I'm just I just I like to talk I just like to have a conversation I want to explain some things I love the Bible I think for a lot of people the Bible can be a bit confusing.

So I always say it in a way where everybody can grab it, go wait a minute, I understand that.

That's what I want to do today. You're going to get some dynamic messages. In fact, I've already been in conversations

about them, about the different messages that are gonna be brought in this

collection of talks, but I want to just kind of lay some context. That's all I

want to do today. I'm going to put the ball in the

tea. These guys are going to smash it off the tea in the coming weeks. But I want to

talk to you about why I give. Why? The why behind all of this? I'll give you some interesting thoughts right off the bat. Jesus talked more about money. In fact, he talked twice as much about money as he did heaven and hell.

16 of the 38 parables, parables are the little stories that Jesus told to illustrate

spiritual truth.

16 of the 38, so nearly half had to do with money and possessions.

There are only over 500 verses in your Bible about prayer and faith,

but there are 2,000 about your money and possessions.
