So in other words, you can present a Scottish 10 pound note and they'll go, yes, but it's up to the shopkeeper whether he accepts it.

It might be legal, but not necessarily if the shopkeeper doesn't want it.

Was he getting, very upset, very upset.

Because people do offer them.

I know I've seen them before.

But you do not have to take them.

If you're a shopkeeper, legally, you don't have to take them.

It's up to you.
