Hey, everyone. Welcome to this week's episode of the Financial Confessions.

If you have been listening to me for a while, chances are you have heard me blab on about the fact that I am, as we say, in our little community, child free by choice.

Now, even that term is controversial amongst some, but I don't know,

I identify with it because it doesn't sound depressing like childless does. But either way,

I am someone who talks pretty openly about the fact that I don't want children. And although

I love children, love being around them, uh, viving with them, spending time with them,

being a parent for me is just not something, um, that I want or that I see in my life

plans.

For me personally, my reasons for not wanting children really have nothing to do with

the environmental impacts of that decision one way or the other.

But being in the child free community, that is a big conversation. Like you can't go on to many or the other. But being in the child-free community, that is a big conversation.

or read a lot of the literature or the discourse happening

at any given time without the environmental context
