Summary

California has become famous lately for its homeless epidemic. This was brought to light not long ago when San Francisco managed to clean up the city just in time for the Communist Party of China to visit and promptly let it fall back into disarray when they left. Today, we are going to ask the question…why is this such a big problem in the wealthiest state in the country? What if anything has been done about it? We will highlight some facts that have not gotten much attention and reveal a dirty secret about what is happening in California and why it will continue to worsen.

0:05.4	Yeah, we see this all over the place in California.
0:08.1	In fact, it became really prominent when San Francisco, which has been kind of at the
0:12.7	epicenter of this particular epidemic, managed to clean everything up almost overnight
0:18.6	as soon as the Chinese Communist Party was coming to visit for a trade delegation.
0:23.2	But unfortunately, did not stay very clean. And so the question is, is that how big a problem is this?
0:29.6	Right. How big a problem in California is this for real? And what are some of the causes that
0:34.9	lead to homelessness? Because this is a complex issue.
0:39.8	We're not saying that it's just one thing or another thing.
0:40.5	It's a lot of stuff.
0:45.5	And so what we're going to do today is we're actually going to look into what has been going on in California.
