Their career trajectory to this point, obviously you're an academic as well, your research specialties.

Just tell us a little bit about you and your career to this point.

It's by the blessings of God and President Arne.

I went from my doctor at the Ohio State University to study military history and strategy, specifically under Jeffrey Parker.

That excellent program they have.

I also, though, for both spiritual and professional purposes, also went to Boston College for degrees in philosophy and theology.

What I strive to be is someone who examines both war and ethics and the meeting of those two.
