Here's a foundational statement for you.

When I get better, my paycheck gets bigger.

And when my paycheck gets bigger, life gets a little easier.

Everybody wants more freedom. Everybody wants to pursue

that happiness and if you aren't winning in your I'm probably talking to some people today that are high performers, you're doing very, very well,

but you feel as though you've hit a lid.

And I want to talk to that frustration today, because I think there are some reasons why. And this is going to

involve some office politics. This is going to involve playing the game. Now I can, I lead with that because I already

know a lot of people like

I don't want to play the game I'm not kissing anybody's butt and by the way

today's teacher will not involve any butt kissing so let me go ahead and address that. But we need to be realistic here. We

need to be able to understand that there is a method to your professional growth that is outside of getting better personally.

I mean there's no question that the key to winning professionally is to get better personally. However, there is a game to be played,

we'll get to that in a minute. And you've got to understand that. And here's the deal. Let me also say this. For those of you had an objection to this, because every time I bring this topic up, you get the cynics, and they come after me on social media, and it literally makes me laugh.

I just wish, I wish people could watch my face

and get inside my brain when I share,

you know, which is a challenging truth and then they get mad at me and this is what the message is.

So let me go ahead and raise the objection and then we'll get past the objection.

So the objection is for some of you already I'm not playing the game I'm not

kissing anybody's butt I'm gonna do this I'm gonna do that I'm not playing
