There is an ongoing human rights disaster

on the ground in northern Syria and a complete geopolitical realignment.

The Kurdish forces, this from the Financial Times, Kurdish forces say they have struck a deal with Syria and Russia to stop the Turks.

In a dramatic shift that came just hours after Donald Trump ordered the evacuation of the remaining U.S. forces in the country's

northeast.

Northeast Syria is a huge territory.

It was controlled by the Syrian Democratic forces.

We call them the Kurds in shorthand and in fact the majority of

them are Kurds but there are also in that region there are Christian villages and a lot of Christians in those areas and

you know there are some other Arabs in those areas

uh... some shia some Sunni i mean basically the Kurds this fighting force the

Syrian democratic force their whole thing

was we're not a religious force we are not like an Islamic government which is why it's a

coalition of Kurds, you know, have one variety of

Islam, some Sunni, some Shia, and a lot of Christian fighters. And Trump has

just turned all of them over to Syria.

And Syria, of course, has a strong alliance

with Russia.

Russia has a major naval base there in Syria,
