Hello and welcome to the Americano podcast. This is an election year. Will Donald Trump be

0:11.3

re-elected? What is going on with the Democrats? And has America gone even more crazy? We'll be

0:17.9

discussing all of these things and more, more than once a week, because we don't

0:22.3

feel you have enough Americano in your life. And I have a special offer for Americano listeners.

0:28.0

If you want to subscribe to the Spectator's US edition, which is brilliant, by the way, I edit it,

0:34.3

you can go to www.spictator., forward slash, subscribe and take advantage of our special

0:42.6

Americano offer. If you insert the code Americano in capital letters like Donald Trump on Twitter,

0:48.6

you will get 5% off. Please do so. I'm joined today by John Levine, and he is a reporter on the Democratic race and the 2020

1:23.5

I was. I mean, I was certainly not. First of all, it's good to be here, Freddie. Thank you for having me.

1:27.7

Well, thank you for coming on.

1:28.8

I was surprised. If you look at sort of who has a right to stay in

1:32.9

and who really should be considering dropping out,

1:35.6

he would not have been first on my list for who should go.

1:39.4

I mean, he pretty much fought Sanders to a draw in Iowa.

1:45.0

And then he had respectable showings,

1:48.0

he had a very respectable showing in New Hampshire.

1:51.0

He narrowly lost New Hampshire.
