None of us should forget about the war in Ukraine.

And this is why.

Hi everyone, Neil here, and yeah, for the first time in quite a while, in fact, we're going to be returning to Ukraine, and it's more than four-year war with Russia.

The reason being, the war is still going on and we shouldn't forget that,

even if most of our attention is focused elsewhere.

In fact, that is exactly the point Prince Harry wanted to make

when he made a surprise visit to Kiev earlier.

As a friend of Ukraine who believes the world must not grow used to this war or numb to its

consequences.

And yeah, there certainly isn't wall-to-wall coverage of the conflict any longer.

Iran, Gaza, cost of living, you take your pick.

There's a lot competing for our attention.

But also for the attention of the US president,

who, let's be honest, seems far less concerned with the pursuit of peace these days.

Meanwhile, the killing continues on the battlefield.

Russia's been losing more people than it can recruit the first quarter this year.

They managed to recruit about 90,000, and they've lost about 110,000.

So how is the conflict going? Is it in danger of being forgotten? And what exactly are the UK and EU doing to help?
