Hello, my theology geek friends and welcome back to Sociology 101.

Today we're going to be responding to a Calvinist. It's actually a coffee with a Calvinist on his podcast. Pastor Keith is the one who

hosts this podcast. Seems like a fairly kind brother. Obviously disagrees with me and he holds the

Calvinistic position, but a listener sent me a link to this two-part response. He does keep his

podcast quite a bit smaller or shorter than

mine. I probably should learn from his lesson because he keeps it a lot faster than mine.

He just breaks it up in a two podcasts. And so he gets to some, I think, really important issues

when it comes to the question of judicial hardening and the question of okay if total inability is true you're born

spiritually blind deaf to the truth of God's words and why in the world would God harden

sinners hearts what's there to harden it's like putting a blindfold over a corpse and and Pastor Keith

attempts to answer that question I don't obviously feel like he does so sufficiently as we'll go through here.

And he also makes some mistakes with regard to what traditionalists believe.

And so I wanted to correct some of those misnomer that he brings up during his broadcast as well.

And had he done a little bit more homework you would have seen, I think, Eric Hankins, Dr. Eric Hankins,

who wrote the traditionalist, was one of the authors, primary authors of the traditionalist statement,

who gave some caveats that he apparently, Keith apparently is not aware of.

And so I wanted to make sure that you were aware of some of those things as well in this broadcast.

And so we're just going to do it as we've done before. We're going to

play him in his own words and respond to it as we go through this here on this
