Rob you'll remember that you know during the Mandalorian season 2 finale there happened to be a little bit of a post-credit scene that announced the book of Boba Fett, right?

Which caused a little bit of confusion amongst the fan base.

Some people thought, wait a minute,

so is this replacing Mandalorian or is Boba Fett now the

Mandalorian in Mandalorian season three and it's going to follow him? Are there

going to be two separate things? Is the book of Boba Fett going to be one thing and

Mandalorian season three another thing? Now we had always just assumed that it was going to be two separate

shows but there was some confusion and now John Favreau has come up and cleared up the confusion.

John Favreau was being interviewed and he cleared it up.

Now this is from Entertainment Weekly and they wrote the following.

Appearing on Good Morning America on Monday,

the showrunner and director explained,

this is John Favreau, explained that the Book of Bobafette

will indeed be a standalone spin-off series,

not some sort of replacement for the Mandalorian season three,

to which everybody breathe a huge sigh of relief.

Even though both titles will premiere in December of 2021.

Tomorrow Morrison who plays Boba Fett

and Ming Naw Wen, who plays Fenik, will star.

In addition, Robert Rodriguez, who directed that big action-filled John Wick Boba-Fett episode,

will also be joining as one of the new producers as well.

And he'll probably end up directing one or two the episodes as well.
