Since the shutdown began, Liz Malurba with United South and Eastern Tribes has been fielding calls

from tribal clinic directors who are running into roadblocks billing Medicare for their

patient's telehealth visits. Telehealth is very important for our elders and especially for

ultra-rural tribal communities. Malurba says some tribes have the resources to float those costs and
