Waiting. When we find ourselves living in a season of waiting, it can be frustrating.

We may struggle to keep our patience and want to try to make things happen on our own.

We may even go to God and ask him, when are you going to answer this prayer?

No matter how long the wait, God always has a good plan at the right time.

Today, Joyce wants to encourage us that choosing to trust him in those waiting times

will prepare us for when God's answers do come.

when. What is the fruit of reasoning? Let's just think about what good it does us for a minute.

Now, you understand, I'm not talking about just being a dummy and never trying to figure anything

out, but I am talking about not going so far that you end up frustrated and

confused. You know, sometimes the more you think about something, the more double-minded you become.

You know what I'm talking about. You made a decision, and then you think about it again.

Well, no, maybe I should do this.

And then you think about it a little bit more. Well, no, I think I'll do what I was going to do to start with.

And then you call up somebody else that doesn't even know how to run their own life.

And you ask them what they think you should do. that doesn't even know how to run their own life.

You ask them what they think you should do.

Come on.

I mean, double-mindedness makes you miserable.

Make a decision and do something.
