Waiting. When we find ourselves living in a season of waiting, it can be frustrating.

We may struggle to keep our patience and want to try to make things happen on our own.

We may even go to God and ask him, when are you going to answer this prayer?

No matter how long the wait, God always has a good plan at the right time.

Today, Joyce wants to encourage us that choosing to trust him in those waiting times

will prepare us for when God's answers do come.

When God, When. Well, we started a series last night on God's timing and his ways and all the

questions we have that leave us in confusion that God usually doesn't answer because he does things his own way and

in his own timing and our little fits are not going to get him to hurry or get him to change.

And I thought we got a good start last night, but I had four scriptures at the very end of the message that I didn't get to.

And I knew you would want to start with them today because there are four scriptures about patience.

Now, how many are excited already to hear?

First of all, let me tell you what patience is and what it's not.

Patience is not just waiting on God.

We're all going to wait on God.

Everybody waits.

Even nature waits. Flowers wait. Trees wait for the sunshine and the rain. We're all waiting for the provision of God. But patience, now listen, is how you behave while you're waiting.

Thank you. is how you behave while you're waiting.

It's time to wake up.
