let's tap in. God doesn't just want to take from us if God ever commands us to

give or let go of something it's only to make space for something better he has.

And I think there is many people who are hesitant to follow God because they believe he's

a God that takes.

And even some of us who do choose to follow somewhere deep down we believe the same exact sentiment.

I've even found myself in situations

where I've asked myself like, dang, like,

what do I have to give up now, right?

Reluctant to do so. But we have to realize that God isn't in the

business of taking away. And since he's the ultimate provision, it is only in

this nature to give. And we won't experience a fullness of life he has to offer and so we live it looking through this lens.

And although I do think money does play into this conversation, like we've heard about there's a lot of people who are

reluctant to tie then a lot of people who don't like the aspect of you know the church

but I honestly think this is deeper than money. Some of us believe God loves taking our relationships,

our time, our so-called fun, the things that bring us pleasure,

like I mentioned just a second ago,

I even found myself walking into new seasons asking,ang like what do I have to give up now

not even in a monetary way but just in terms of time and energy etc etc but what I

always have to ask myself in these seasons and in these moments is like why would

God want to take from us right God is God he's the ultimate provision he would

find no benefit and really receiving he has everything really he doesn't he doesn't need the things that he's asking us to give him so like I mentioned if he's asking us to give up something or to make space it is for our benefit and we have to look at everything
