thing is that I spent all my life being really rather indifferent to birds, the small, all the

birds were surrounded by. I'd had a thing

about sea birds, you know, we used to go when I was a boy on holiday to Scotland, an island

full of sea birds and became completely obsessed with them, but all the little birds, the little

birds of the garden and the wood, the tits and the finches, are around us all day every day.
