Fixing your car, a truck could get harder, given the auto-workers' strike.

I'm David Bronkaccio in New York, while General Motors, Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, GMC,

and Stalantis Jeep Ram Dodge, say they have contingency plans,

owner of those vehicles may find spare parts soon to be in short supply.

This after the auto-workers' union expand that it's strike to parts' distribution centers.

While the UAW is also striking it forward, the union is not targeting forward

distribution centers right now, citing some progress and negotiations there.

What are you hearing about this strategy of adding parts' distribution centers to strike action?

Well, it's very interesting the way the UAW is conducting this strike, of course, in the past.

They usually did across the board strikes where workers had all sites at one company went out.

Here, they're striking against three companies, but only targeted sites.

And in the second wave of sites, they picked these parts' distribution centers owned by General Motors

and Stalantis, which of course is the parent of Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram.

This could hurt dealers because they make a lot of money on service and repairs,

and it could annoy customers, people who need their cars and can't get them repaired.

Yeah, I mean, that takes it right to the customer, right?

You bring in your pickup truck for a new Tyrod in the No Tyrod, and so you can't drive it.
