Zing. Gen Z. Love and or hate them there all anybody can talk about right now. I'm an aging

millennial and I still remember when everyone called us flat white drinking avocado toast eating

losers. But that is pretty much ancient history in the generational wars.

Nowadays, everyone wants to know more about Zuma's, what they want, what they believe in,

and what they're about. But there's a flaw in our understanding of Genzi. How do we explain how

this generation went from giving us Greta Turnburg, the climate strikes, and the anti-gun march

for our lives, to one that is increasingly

right-wing and conservative, if you want to go by recent electoral results from Germany and America.

Is it possible that we're looking at this generation all wrong? And does the COVID pandemic

have anything to do with that? To help me answer these questions, I'm delighted to speak to

trend forecaster and generational

whisperer Sean Monaghan. Sean co-founded Kehoe, the group best known for coining the term

Normcore back in 2013. It explained, among other things, why the coolest people you knew

started wearing new balances that looked like they came from your dad's closet. Thanks for joining
