Welcome to the show guys thank you for tuning in today we've a really exciting

episode for you today a really exciting conversation and interview with my

new friend Katie Faust. Now you may have seen recently if you follow me on

social media that I spoke out against surrogacy and I said that it was

intrinsically wrong because it intentionally denies the child one or both of

their parents and some of you guys who follow me on social media were pretty

upset about that and you thought that surrogacy was kind of just like adoption

and as long as it was not creating a commodification of women to buy their

wounds and rent them but if it was done consensually and willfully and it was

done for free out of the goodness of one's heart then surrogacy should be

completely fine so I thought it would be important to really dive into this

conversation regarding surrogacy regarding donor conception essentially third

party reproductive technologies anything that is outside of the typical man

woman married couple creating children through the normal process of sex so I

brought them my friend Katie today she is the founder and director of them

before us phenomenal name for an organization which exists to advance social

policies and encourage adults to actively respect the rights of children rather

than expecting children to sacrifice their fundamental rights for the sake of
