We sure love you. Good to have you. If you're new, we're in a book of the Bible called Hebrews.

We're in chapter 10 today, and just to set it up, if you're new, we love you.

My name's Pastor Mark. We're really glad to have you. I'm kind of an old school throwback Bible teacher and like to go through

books of the Bible. So this is my 30th year in the pulpit and Hebrews is the 40th book of the Bible that I've taught in or through.

And in case you're not aware, I like to write study guides in advance. And what this will help you do is get ready to get the most out of God's word in the

sermon. So it'll tell you kind of the big ideas and themes that we're getting into in whatever

the book of the Bible that we're studying. In addition, it'll give you each week what the text

of scripture will be studying. You can read in advance. I'll provide some commentary. And then there's deeper study for you to look

up the themes throughout the Bible that are in that section of the Bible, as well as discussion

questions for you to ask yourself, for you, if you're married, study with your spouse, if you've got

kids, put the study guide on your dining room table, have a chat about Jesus.

We did this all the time with our kids growing up,

and if you're in a small group, use it for that.
