Yeah, we're going to look at the relationship between Catholics and scripture and dispel some of the common misconceptions about Catholics and the Bible.

As St Jerome said, ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ.

So let's figure out why we don't read the Bible. All right good to be back in the studio with you guys.

Always, always a pleasure, especially if we could talk about the Word of God, and I know each of us read the Word of God,

but why are Catholics not? I don't understand.

Yeah, I mean, you're not Catholic? I think Ryan's got something up his sleeve.

I think he does soon. Yeah, that's tricky Catholics. out to our Jesuit tricks.

Here's the thing though, you know, we bade you in why Catholics don't read the Bible, but the fact is that the Catholics do read the Bible.

The Catholics are completely engrossed in scripture.

Everything that we do, everything that our traditions are based on, and the Bible

itself is a Catholic book. So we're going to discuss that today.
