Hi, I'm Dave. I've been walking for fitness since 2013, averaging about 21,000 steps a day.

I'm walking right now and would love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes.

So every now and then, I get into this mindset mode where I look around and I see it's a little

before sunrise.

The temperature is comfortable here in South Carolina.

The skies are mostly clear.

It really is a delightful morning to be out for a bike ride, a run, or a fitness walk.

And I'm wondering why I'm the only person, and right now I'm walking in an area where I can see, I can see a lot.

And there is a woman running.

I saw a group of cyclists as I was leaving the house.

But I haven't seen anybody else.

Nobody else walking.

I'm it.

And this is not unusual.

I mean, this is not like, oh, this never happens.

This is the way it always happens.

Why aren't more people walking for fitness?
