0:51.1	a heart to this question that is like, why does prayer matter,
0:55.4	but also does it do something?
0:57.5	Why do we believe prayer is powerful or meaningful?
1:02.3	And why is it such an important part of the Christian life?
1:06.0	Yeah, well, actually, it's a great way you started that because there's an old movie called Shadowlands about C.S. Lewis.
1:11.5	And I don't know if C.S. Lewis ever said this. I tend to think C.S. Lewis can do no wrong.
1:15.1	But there's a scene in the movie where somebody asks him why he prays if God's already sovereign and knows everything.
1:21.6	You actually think prayer changes things. And the guy playing C.S. Louis, Anthony Anthony Hopkins kind of sits back and looks up.
1:27.9	He's like, no, prayer doesn't change things, but it changes me.
