Welcome to the WAN show! I was hacked again!

This time by Veritasium, and as many of you observed,

my wife doesn't respect me.

It's wild. We'll talk about that later.

Anyway, in other news this week, one of our friends in the industry has been embroiled in a little bit of controversy. I'll have to give you some

background on that. Oh! We'll use our panel of judges to review. I just got signed out to the dock so

nice. Um I'm working on it. Wow, it's a good show. What a great show by a professional.

Cloud Player wants to help block AI training bots, which is actually sick.

And California is changing how companies have to communicate purchases versus basically renting software or renting a game.

Pretty much what we do today. Which is, I'm very happy they're doing this this is

actually super cool. Oh, The show is brought to today by remotely, Squarespace, Jump Cloud, and of course, our chair partner Secret Lab and laptop partner LG.

Why don't we jump into a little bit of behind the scenes?

That Veritasium collab, we actually have been working on doing more collabs because we realize

that we've kind of been stuck in our little bubble up here in Vancouver and

haven't talked to anybody or collaborated with anybody pretty much since COVID.

And there have been a couple of small exceptions,

but we used to collab with other creators a fair bit

and we just stopped.

In fairness to us, we've been a little busy, especially over the last year.

We've had some work to do getting our house in order, but we kind of talked about this a couple of months ago, I guess, and aligned on that,
