This is LBC from Global, leading Britain's conversation with James O'Brien.

Three minutes after 10 is, well, obviously the time.

0:18.6

A very good morning indeed to you. It's Friday. We will be talking about coronavirus a little later in the program, but it is a mark, perhaps, of how, well, the sort of public interest, waxes and wanes.

0:30.9

I would suggest that it's become part of the furniture already.

0:36.8

So that initial flurry of interest, I think quite rightly, prompts an astonishing cavalcade of coverage.

0:44.3

And then it's sort of, it's as if society adjusts to the new normal.

0:49.0

So although there are still some overreactions in some quarters, empty supermarket shelves being perhaps the best indicator

0:55.3

of that. Remarkable bulletin a moment ago from the BBC's business editor, essentially saying

1:03.2

that he's been speaking to supermarket bosses and they haven't heard a thing from Matt Hancock,

1:42.5

So I will put it a little later in the programme as things stand, but when I say that it's your show as much as mine,

1:48.9

it's not just a slightly platitudinal slogan. It is actually the truth. So if you're not happy

1:56.5

with that decision, do let me know and I shall possibly review it. Because the thing that really

2:00.9

intrigues me at the moment on every level, once you get away from the politics, move from the

2:06.4

political to the personal, the ability to change, to see the world differently is what

2:14.0

fascinates me most at the moment. Not least because I've realised relatively

2:17.9

late in life, I'm not terribly good at it. I'm not terribly good at changing or acknowledging

2:23.0

mistakes and I'm trying to be better. And for some reason, I was reminded this morning of the
