information you need is this. You know those newspaper columns where you write in, notes and

queries, I think it's called in the Guardian, Q&A, the mail run it every day actually, and you

write in and you say, why do we do this? Where does that come from? What's the meaning of this?

What is the meaning of this? What's the origin of this? Where does this come from? All of these

questions have answers. You know there must be an answer, but you haven't been able to either

work out what it is or find it. You possibly, with some of the questions that you will hear

this hour, you possibly could have googled it, but we don't do that because we don't want

to live in a world where everything is translated through a keyboard. we don't want to live in a world where everything is translated through a keyboard.

We don't want to live in a word where communication is reduced to binary code.

We want to cling on for another generation or two to a world where human interaction is the best way of ensuring an increase in the sum total of human knowledge. So while you could use

a search engine to deal with some of these questions, what we do is use each other. So if you hear

someone ask a question to which you do know the answer, then you have to ring in and provide the

answer. And I'll ask what your qualifications are, and you will tell me that any of it could veer
