The temperature here has gone down a little bit.

It was around 70 this morning when I came into work, but our building is still without

air conditioning.

We've got, how do you say, a small problem here?

I think at least one of our computers has croaked in the heat.

The building management promises us that they're going to have air conditioning texts here today, but I'm skeptical.

But anyhow, we're still here, and we're on the air, and I'm hopeful that you can hear me.

But I want to start out with a couple of topics here.

But my rant for today, and over at Hartman Report, is specifically, I mean the headlines

is trickled down economics isn't even a new con, and you know that there's this new study out.

It came out a few months ago, but you know, new to me from the London School of Economics

that found that the Reagan-Bush tax cuts, which have added about $18 trillion to our budget deficit,

not only haven't caused, quote, job creators to create more jobs, but they wiped us out.

I mean, it just literally wiped us out economically and politically, and they're gutting the middle class.

Robert Reich, however he says his name, right?

Reich, yeah, there you go.

The English pronunciation, anyhow, he says, over at his blog, he says, since the start of the pandemic,

you know, that's like 14 months ago, right?

Maybe 16 months ago now.

Since the start of the pandemic, just 651 American billionaires have gained $1 trillion in wealth.

Now that's enough for those, just those 651 billionaires to mail a check to every American for $3,000.
